Anne Marie Jackson is a partner in the firm. Her family law practice includes negotiating divorce, property and custody agreements; as well as litigating trial and appellate cases involving family law issues. Ms. Jackson is also trained in Collaborative Law. She is a founding member of both Collaborative Divorce Association, Inc. in Maryland and Collaborative Law Alliance - DC, which promote an alternative to litigating family law cases.

Her published articles include The Coming of Age of Grandparent Visitation Rights, Deviating from Child Support Guidelines, From Negotiations to Litigation: Professional Custody Evaluations. She co-authored with Sanford K. Ain Professional, Personal & Celebrity Goodwill Valuation and Complex Family Matters.

Ms. Jackson is also active in local bar activities. She is a former President of the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland; and currently serves as co-chair of the Judicial Selections Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland. As co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of Montgomery County, she received the Bar Association’s Outstanding Section Chair of the Year award. She is a fellow in the Leadership Academy of the Maryland State Bar Association.

Ms. Jackson is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Additionally, Ms. Jackson is a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association.

Ms. Jackson received her undergraduate degree from Emory University (B.A., 1991); and law degree cum laude from the Washington College of Law, American University (J.D., 1994), where she was the Senior Federal Circuit Editor of the American University Law Review. Prior to practicing family law, in 1994-95 she was a law clerk to the Honorable Theodore G. Bloom of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Ms. Jackson is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
